We conduct in-depth assessments of entire nursing departments or individual programs using a SWOT analysis approach - evaluating strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. We then present clear and concise problem statements, together with specific recommendations for improvement.
 
 Variable Budgeting and Staffing.
 
We have a well developed program for evaluating current budgeting and staffing systems, including the use of benchmark data to evaluate current staffing levels. We provide workshops for nursing management staff on developing and monitoring budgeting systems that are responsive to variations in both patient volume and patient acuity. And most importantly, we also have simple to use tools to help nurse managers develop meaningful budgets and assure ongoing budget compliance.
 
 Staff Recruitment and Retention Programs.
 
Our consultants have had years of experience in developing innovative staff recruitment and retention programs. We assist nurse recruiters develop effective recruitment programs, and even more importantly, we help nurse managers learn how to market their organization and specific positions.
